A 14-year-old boy, Shaquan Samuels, was shot at Bailey’s Corner Shop on Nelson Street, Bridgetown, around 5 p.m. today (April 16th). He was sitting inside the shop when a bullet grazed the back of his head. Samuels is currently in stable condition at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Another child, 11-year-old Amari Knight, was also present but unharmed and has given a statement to police. The area has been cordoned off as investigations continue.
