
A 29-year-old man was taken into police custody after brandishing a knife at the Grantley Adams International Airport around 11 a.m (April 4th). He aggressively demanded to speak with an airline manager, prompting a swift response from airport security. The officers, while sustaining minor injuries, managed to de-escalate the situation, subdue the man, and secure the weapon. It remains unclear if the individual was a passenger. Airport operations continued without disruption, and no passengers or airline staff were harmed. Police are continuing their investigation.
