Police Intercept Vehicle in Lower Estate, Shots Fired, Two in Custody

Police yesterday (March 26) intercepted a white taxi van in Lower Estate, St. Michael, in an operation led by the Serious Crimes Unit of the Barbados Police Service. During the incident, shots were fired, and both an unmarked police SUV and the taxi sustained damage. Five men were inside the vehicle at the time, but three managed to escape. The driver and one passenger were detained. Authorities are actively searching for the remaining suspects.
