The Barbados Police Service is investigating a shooting that occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 2025, in Maynards, St. Peter. According to reports, individuals were socializing near a bar when a masked gunman approached from a nearby track, robbed a man, and then fired a shot, injuring another man. The injured victim was transported by private vehicle for medical treatment and has since been discharged.
Investigations are ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact the District E Police Station at 419-1703 or 419-1737, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS (8477), or the nearest police station. All information provided will be kept confidential.
