Police are investigating a shooting that took place at Dunlow Lane, Bay Street, St. Michael, on Friday night March 21st).
According to reports, officers at the Hastings/Worthing Police Station received a call at approximately 10:40 p.m. on March 21, informing them that a man had been shot and was being transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in a private vehicle.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the victim was liming at a shop before walking to his car when two attackers ambushed him. A struggle ensued as he attempted to enter the vehicle, during which he was shot in the leg.
The victim is currently in stable condition, and police are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward by contacting Crime Stoppers or the local police.
