Fatal Shooting near St. Lawrence Gap: One Dead, One Injured

Feb 21, UPDATE 2: Police are investigating the unnatural death of 32-year-old Obrian Jerome Dixson, whose unresponsive body was discovered along Bamboo Road, St. Lawrence, Christ Church, on February 20, 2025. Authorities responded to a 9:05 a.m. report and found Dixson motionless on the roadway. Ambulance personnel confirmed he had no signs of life, and a medical doctor later pronounced him dead.

Investigations revealed that his death followed an altercation between a group of men, which also left two others injured. The injured men were transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment. Police are seeking information from the public as inquiries continue.
