Gun-Wielding Robber Remanded After Market Hill Supermarket Heist

Daquan Straker, a 24-year-old labourer, has been remanded in connection with the recent robbery at Market Hill Supermarket. He faces charges of aggravated burglary and brandishing a firearm while committing an indictable offense on February 12. Straker is accused of stealing $669.20 from Victor Estwick. He was not required to plead when he appeared before Magistrate Douglas Fredrick at the District “F” Magistrates Court and has been remanded until March 17.
