A 33-year-old man is receiving medical treatment after being attacked in St. John last night. The incident occurred at the Welches/Bath Village junction after he exited a bus. A group of men assaulted him, beating and stabbing him, and a gunshot was reportedly fired during the attack. The victim sustained injuries to his right arm and the back of his head and was treated by paramedics.
